In the solitude and silence of the good-bye kiss the Spirit dove is released by a family member or close friend. As Spirit Dove ascends and is joined by a flock of Angel escorts (seven white doves released
simultaneously) that carry the hopes and prayers of everyone present on their wings a sweet sense of closure may begin. In another ceremony, called the Trinity Memorial Release Ceremony, spirit dove is released to join the Holy Trinity Doves, three that are released in the name of The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. As everyone is looking up to see the doves join for their flight home a sense of peace and tranquility is felt by everyone.
What a loving and inspirational tribute to honor a loved one. The dove release coordinator will conduct the Ceremony beginning with a description of what is about to take place before the silence of the release. There are two ceremonies to choose from. Professional baskets are placed on beautiful wrought iron stands and appropriate drapes are used to cover the baskets for display and transport. (Drapes are provided as comfort for the doves and as light décor in the place of flowers or in addition to simple floral accents as requested.)
